Yes. Verified crew can submit supplier recommendations. If they join, you earn a Supporter Badge.
What is the crew dashboard?
Your personal space to manage favourites, suggestions, and badges.
Do my suggestions affect supplier visibility?
Yes. A “Suggested by Crew” tag appears on their profile once verified.
Does Coastleap take commissions?
No. All communication and transactions are direct between crew and supplier.
Which regions are available?

What is Coastleap for suppliers?
A platform where yacht crew find and contact your business directly — no middlemen, no commissions.
What do I need to register?
Business details, VAT/Tax number, coverage area (ports/regions), contact details, up to two service categories, and a valid payment method.
How much does it cost?
€200 + VAT per year (before discounts).
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. Special codes like Founding Member apply during the subscription process.
Why only two categories?
To keep results accurate and relevant for crew searching for specific experts.
How is my VAT verified?
Automatically through a tax validation API. Our admins may also perform a manual review.
What is the “Suggested by Crew” tag?
Crew-recommended suppliers display this tag on their profile to build trust.
What is the “Verified Supplier” badge?
It’s displayed after your business passes our initial verification checks.
How do I appear higher in searches?
Search ranking is based on verified status, active region relevance, profile completeness, and coverage area specificity.
Can I update my information later?
Yes. You can edit your profile details, coverage areas, and photos anytime via your dashboard.

Can I get a refund?
Yes — we offer a 14-day refund window from the date of activation.
Does Coastleap store card details?
No. We use secure, industry-leading payment processors (like Stripe) to handle all sensitive data.
What is OTP verification?
A mandatory one-time code sent by SMS & email to verify identity for suppliers and agencies.
Can I switch from supplier to agency?
Yes. You can upgrade or change your subscription type via your dashboard settings.
Does Coastleap have dark mode?

Is offline mode available?
Not yet — but an offline-first mobile app experience is currently in development.
Does Coastleap sell data?

How do suppliers get badges?
Through our verification process, joining during launch phases, receiving crew recommendations, and maintaining high performance.
How do crew get badges?
By suggesting trusted suppliers that successfully join the platform and being early adopters.
Where do badges appear?
On search result cards, full supplier/agency profiles, and crew dashboard summaries.
Do badges affect ranking?
Yes. Verified and crew-recommended suppliers receive priority in search algorithms.
Referrals
How do referrals work?
Share your unique referral link with partners. If they join using your link, you both earn recognition and badges.

Found in your dashboard under the ‘Referrals’ tab.
Do referrals expire?
No, referral tokens are linked to your account indefinitely.
Can I invite both suppliers and agencies?
Yes, you can refer any maritime professional business.
Does Coastleap pay commission for referrals?
We do not pay cash commissions, but you earn exclusive badges and increased network visibility.
