Badge FAQ
Do badges affect search ranking?
Yes. Verified and crew-recommended suppliers may appear higher in results to ensure quality for our users.
Do badges expire?
No, except for Verification badges which require valid business documentation. Founding and Referral badges are yours for life.
Can a supplier lose a badge?
Founding Member and Crew Recommended badges are permanent. Verification badges may be removed if credentials become invalid or in cases of fraud.
Do referrals from any region count?
Yes. Coastleap is a global network. Successful referrals from any maritime hub count toward your Advocate or Champion status.
